We're hiring a freelance growth and content associate to help Dotio (previously EvryThink) figure out how an AI finance app for freelancers and small businesses actually gets noticed, tested, and shared.
01The work
You'll work directly with the founders on early go-to-market — audience research, messaging, channel tests, and the content that comes out of them. There's no fixed playbook yet, so part of the job is helping us build it.
- Research where the users are, what freelancers, founders, and small business owners pay attention to, and what kind of messaging actually lands.
- Test channels across social, partnerships, communities, creator-style content, and paid. Figure out which ones are worth doubling down on.
- Shape how we talk about the product, from positioning down to the format of a single post.
- Make the content when needed — short-form video, social posts, simple creatives. Whatever the experiment needs.
- Read the numbers and help decide what to keep, improve, or drop.
- Bring ideas we wouldn't have had on our own. References, experiments, things you've seen work elsewhere.
02About you
- Early in your career, but already genuinely into growth, content, or marketing for AI and internet-first products.
- You've done something in this space — freelance work, an internship, a side project, your own account, a brand you helped grow.
- You actually use social platforms well and understand how young freelancers, creators, and founders discover new tools.
- Proactive and comfortable without structure. You can try things, learn from them, and move on without waiting for a brief.
- Strong written and verbal English. Most of our messaging will pass through your hands first.
- Bonus if you've grown something online before, or you're a freelancer yourself and know the world our users live in.
