We're hiring a founding full-stack engineer to own the technical roadmap at Dotio (previously EvryThink) and help us build the strongest AI agents in finance through 2025. If it works, this role becomes CTO.
01The work
You'll be the first engineer on the ground, shaping the product from the tech side and translating two founders' ambition into shipped software. Live product, AWS infra, AI agents on top.
- Own the technical roadmap and make the calls on stack, architecture, and scalability as we grow.
- Ship the product end to end with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS. Live product, real users joining every day.
- Run the cloud on AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS) with CI/CD, Terraform, and a Kubernetes plan that doesn't get ahead of the team.
- Build the AI layer on Google Vertex and Meta Llama. The goal is the strongest AI agents in finance, not another chat wrapper.
- Manage partner integrations — Stripe, Google, Meta, and whoever else lands in the ecosystem as we scale.
- Sit with the founders in Amsterdam and Barcelona. Small team, clear comms, no BS.
02About you
- Based in Amsterdam, able to work without a visa. This one is non-negotiable for the role.
- Strong with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS. You've shipped real products on this stack, not just tutorials.
- You've built from zero at an early-stage startup. Bonus if you've been a founder yourself.
- Comfortable with infra — CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes plans, and managing partner integrations like Stripe, Google Vertex, and Meta.
- No-BS communicator in English. Spanish is a real plus. You challenge ideas when you have a better one.
- Hands-on and adaptable, with a sense of humor. Gamer or neurodiverse is a plus, not a filter.
