Dotio (previously EvryThink) is hiring a freelance full-stack developer to help us build the first MVP of an ERP for startups, taking the concept from architecture sketch to something a real customer can log into.
01The work
You'll work directly with the founder on the core of the system, from React front end to Node back end to the database underneath. Scrum sprints, pre-agreed hours, no busywork.
- Turn the concept into an MVP by translating product requirements into a working full-stack architecture we can ship and iterate on.
- Build the front end in React, focused on a responsive, intuitive interface that a startup founder can actually navigate.
- Build the back end in Node and Express, with reliability and security as non-negotiables, not afterthoughts.
- Design the data layer in PostgreSQL or MongoDB, advising on the trade-offs and locking in something we won't regret in six months.
- Wire up auth, hosting, and storage using cloud services, with security best practices baked in from day one.
02About you
- Full-stack experience with a portfolio that shows you've shipped real products, not just side experiments.
- Strong JavaScript, with solid React, Node, and Express in your day-to-day toolkit.
- Comfortable with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and opinionated about when to reach for which.
- You've used cloud services for hosting and storage, and you take security seriously without making it theatre.
- Independent and self-directed, with the communication chops to collaborate cleanly in a small remote team.
